Jacob Sherer

I am a second-year PhD student in the Department of Government at Harvard University, where I focus on American Politics and Political Methodology. My research interests focus broadly at the intersection of American politics, political geography, and political behavior. Currently, I am an affiliate with the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, Center for American Political Studies, Local Politics Lab, and the Minda de Gunzberg Center for European Studies.

Prior to Harvard, I earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, and an MPhil in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge. I am originally from Platteville, Wisconsin.

In my free time, you'll find me running, admiring Brutalist architecture, and cheering on the Chicago Bears!
